Exodus mark EXODUSYouth Ministry
Helping the next generation follow Jesus

Every student deserves to be safe, seen, and loved.

Exodus exists to serve the unseen. We partner with families and local churches to make disciples of Jesus Christ, one student at a time.

What we're about

Three things you should know

Jesus leads this ministry

Exodus was never built to make a name for a person. Jesus Christ is our Lord, our Leader, and the head of this ministry. Everything else is secondary.

Safety is never negotiated

The physical, emotional, and spiritual safety of every student will never be compromised. Not for growth, not for convenience, not for anyone's reputation.

We work with your church

Exodus is not a replacement for the local church. We partner with families and congregations, and we point students back to both.

"Success is measured one life at a time. If one student comes to know Jesus, grows in Him, and follows Him faithfully, our work is worthwhile."
The DNA of Exodus

No student should ever wonder if they matter.

If that sounds like something your family or your church wants to be part of, we'd like to meet you.

About Exodus

Built to serve the unseen.

These are the questions we answered before we did anything else. They guide every decision, policy, volunteer, and ministry effort.

Why do we exist?
Exodus exists to serve the unseen.
Who leads us?
Jesus Christ is our Lord, our Leader, and the head of this ministry.
Who are we called to serve?
The next generation. We partner with families and local churches to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
What will we never compromise?
The physical, emotional, and spiritual safety of every student.
What does success look like?
One life at a time. If one student comes to know Jesus, grows in Him, and follows Him faithfully, our work is worthwhile.
The leaders we're becoming

Six words we hold each other to

Every leader at Exodus, present and future, is accountable to these. Not as a slogan, but as a standard.

Honest Humble Faithful Servant-hearted Accountable Present
From our founding letter

To every future leader of Exodus

Exodus was never built to make a name for a person. It exists so that students who feel forgotten will know they are seen. It exists so that students who feel unsafe will find refuge. It exists so that students who feel unloved will encounter the love of Christ through His people.

Never sacrifice people for growth. Never sacrifice truth for popularity. Never sacrifice safety for convenience.

Remember that every number in a report is a person Christ died for.

Love them well. Teach them faithfully. Lead them humbly. Point them to Jesus. Everything else is secondary.

Want to know how we keep students safe?

We put our safety commitments in writing, where every parent can read them.

Safety at Exodus

In writing, where you can read it.

Most ministries say safety matters. We put our commitments on paper before we held our first event, because parents deserve more than a promise.

Supervision

Two adults, always

No adult is ever alone with a student. Two screened adults with line of sight is our minimum standard at every event, every time, with no exceptions for familiarity or convenience.

Screening

Every volunteer is vetted

Every adult who serves with Exodus completes an application, a background check, and training before they are ever around students. Being known and liked is not a substitute for being screened.

Transportation

Safe vehicles, safe drivers

Students only ride in vehicles that are documented as roadworthy. Drivers follow posted speed limits and never use a handheld phone while driving. Any driver can refuse a vehicle or route in good faith, without pushback, when they believe something is unsafe.

Reporting

Concerns get taken seriously

We comply with mandatory reporting laws, we cooperate with authorities, and we bring in outside professionals when a situation calls for it. A safety concern raised in good faith is never treated as a problem. It is treated as protection.

Accountability

No one is above the standard

These commitments apply to every leader, every volunteer, and every family, including the founder. Relationships never lower the bar. If we must choose between protecting the mission and protecting a reputation, we protect the mission.

"The physical, emotional, and spiritual safety of every student will never be compromised."
